Saturday, October 9, at 7:30 p.m.
The first concert in almost two years presents a work new to Artaria – Coleridge-Taylor Perkinson’s Fantasiestücke with an oboe quartet by Malcom Arnold, featuring Tim Shows, and the epic “From My Life,” Quartet No. 1 by Bedrich Smetana.

Friday, November 19, at 7:30 p.m.
The second concert of the season includes Johannes Brahms’ big, muscular Piano Quintet, with John Jensen as the guest artist. Grammy-award winning composer Zhou Tian’s 1st quartet and Haydn’s “Joke” quartet round out the program.

Part II of the Artaria String Quartet’s foray into the complete Beethoven String Quartets finally arrives, after a long pandemic delay. The 8 quartets come from every phase of Beethoven’s life.

Sunday May 8, 3 p.m.
“The Sun Will Rise,” a quartet by AJ Isaacson-Zvidzwa gets its premiere in this concert, which highlights quartets by Florence Price and Jennifer Higdon.
